Mocha Overnight Oats


Give your oatmeal an energy boost with this coffee drink-flavored overnight oats recipe. Chocolate, walnuts, maple and cacao nibs add luxurious flavor to this healthy breakfast.

  • ½ cup rolled oats (see tip)

  • ½ cup low-fat milk

  • ¼ cup chilled coffee

  • 1 soup spoon pure maple syrup

  • 1 ½ teaspoons Chia seeds

  • 1 ½ teaspoons cocoa powder

  • 1 soup spoon roasted chopped walnuts

  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa nibs


  1. Combine oats, milk, coffee, maple syrup, chia seeds, and cocoa powder in a small bowl or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  2. Top with nuts and cocoa nibs before serving.


Tip: People with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity should use oats labeled “gluten-free” as oats are often cross-contaminated with wheat and barley.

To Make Ahead: Prepare in Step 1 and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
